캐나다인 하이킹 그룹인 Trailblazers Outdoor Adventures는 매니토바주 노피밍 주립공원내 버즈 강/엘보우 호(Bird River/Elbow Lake)에서 2019년 8월 10일(토) 오전 8시부터 2019년 8월 11일(일) 오후 6시까지 1박 2일 일정의 카누타기 행사를 개최합니다. 관심있는 분들은 참가하세요. 이번 행사는 참가비는 비회원의 경우 $20(회원은 무료)입니다. 카누 임대비 $40, 카풀비 $15이 추가됩니다.
참가를 원하는 분들은 Trailblazers Outdoor Adventures에서 회원가입을 하고 해당 행사를 눌러 참가 신청을 하면 됩니다. 참가비와 카누 렌트비는 주최자 제이슨(Jason)에게 지불하면 되고, 카풀비는 본인이 타는 차량의 운전자에게 지급하면 됩니다. 본인 차량을 가져간다면 본인 차에 합류하는 분들에게 카풀비를 받으면 됩니다.
참가신청이 어려운 분은 William(전화 204-290-5075)로 연락을 주시면 대신 참가 신청을 해드리겠습니다.
행사 장소(LOCATION): Nopiming Provincial Park.
카누 타는 거리(Canoe Route): 36 KM (왕복).
참가비(FEES): $20(Non-member)
카누/구명 조끼 렌탈비(Canoe/Life Jacket Rentals): $40 per person (1인당 40불)
카풀비(Carpooling): $45/number of people ($50/each with 2-passengers). (1인당 15불씩을 운전하는 분에게 각자 지불)(카누 행사가 끝난 후 바로 위니펙으로 돌아오실 분들은 카풀하지 않고 직접 차를 운전하고 가셔도 됩니다.)

REQUIRED: 4-RSVP Participants; Consumables (3-days of food); Clothing carried (change of clothing; extra pair of socks; long sleeve shirt; jacket); Packing (backpack; stuff sack for food; rain cover/plastic bag); Shelter (tent); Sleeping (sleeping pad/foam; sleeping bag); Water; Review camping list: https://outdooradventure.org/camping
RECOMMENDATION: Head/neck wear; Headlight/flashlight; Extra clothing and towel in a water sealed bag; Survival blanket; Snacks; Extra footwear; Whistle; Rain gear (just in case); Change of clothes for the ride home.
ITEMS I'LL BRING FOR THE GROUP: Hydration (water filter); Navigation (GPS; map; compass); Protection (first aid kit; fire kit; whistle; bear bangers; flares; location beacon); Repair kits; 14 Meters of paracord used as bear hang kit.
We meet around 8 AM in the parking lot of Pony Corral (1050 Nairn Ave), we load the canoes at 8:30 AM on our cars (protective foams provided), and then drive to our Canoe location.

We meet at the Tim Horton's (935 Headmaster Row) parking lot off Lagimodiere Blvd around, and we would make our leave at 8:30 AM.
Once everyone has arrived, we will pickup the canoes, then make our way to Nopiming Provincial Park.
On our arrival, we will carry our canoes to the lake, and we will have three canoe portages before reaching our campsite.
We will be permitted to build a camp fire at a designated fire pit. You may want to bring a portable stove as backup.
