REQUIRED: 5-RSVP Participants; Water (insulated); Consumables (3-days of food); Gloves; Head/neck wear; Base layers (long johns/tights; tee-shirt; long-sleeve shirt); Clothing carried (change of clothing; extra pair of socks; long sleeve shirt; long johns/tights); Packing (sled; backpack; stuff sack for food); Sleeping (sleeping bag; pad/foam).
GROUP ITEMS (provided): Hydration (boiling pot); Navigation (GPS; map; compass); Shelter (heated tent); Protection (Heater pack, first aid kit; fire kit; whistle; bear banger; flares; location beacon); Repair kits.
RECOMMENDED: Snowshoes; Ski pants; Snacks; Gaiters; Extra socks and gloves; Hiking poles; Toilet Paper; Whistle; Sun block; Red head light (availability limited onsite); Change of clothes for the drive home.
OPTIONAL: Hiking poles (availability limited onsite); Personal winter tent (-15 sleeping bag required); Dish & Cutlery (spork); Chair/pad; Private room; Home Shuttle Service ($0.50 KM out of the way; on the way FREE).
We meet around 8:30 AM at Tim Horton's (935 Headmaster Row) off Lagimodiere Blvd around, drive at 8:45 AM.
