이 사고로 Shaftesbury Boulevard 근처 Grant Avene 일대는 엄청난 교통체증이 있었다고 합니다.
경찰은 다른 차와 부딪쳐서 발생한 사고가 아닌 짚(jeep) 혼자 뒤집힌 이 교통사고의 원인을 파악하기 위하여 분주하다고 하는데 아직까지 정확한 사고원인은 발표되지 않았습니다.

It's only a matter of time before a tragedy like in Quebec happens here. I personally have seen twice this year students exiting from trunks at the McDonald's on Regent.

I sure hope these students are okay.
We just lost a 15 year old boy in my community due to drinking and driving. He decided to take the keys to the family vehicle while mom and dad were camping at spruce woods. 15 yr old wasn't license but had 2 friends in the car who were licensed. Alchol was involved.
I doubt there was alchol involved in this accident by my whole point is for some reason ppl are not learing the affects of drinking and driving have on their loved ones and friends.

I am appalled by all the comments. I am more concerned about these students and their families, no need to judge them, I am sure they learned their lesson. There is no way that each of us has been a perfect driver, no one intends for this to happen.

Almost daily I see high school students driving way too fast, with too many kids in the car, most unbuckled and driving like stupid morons. I'm relieved to hear no other vehicles were involved. Another reason to up the age to driving to 18. Teenagers are just too young to drive.

Schvindel, of course this would never happen in red deer, haha what are you implying that they don't have cars in red deer? Or they don't have accidents? There dumb kids driving everywhere... hopefully everyone is ok. They were probably high like 90% of the kids that go to that school

Will the parents of these kids admit to some responsibility for this incident?

This was not an “accident” as reported. If you have ever taken defensive driving you know that this is an incident not an accident. Incidents are preventable if common sense is used. There was another flipped car on St. Mary’s Rd at 5:00pm Monday afternoon. Wait till winter hits and our autopac rates go up!
“Just slow down!” is a message not being heard. Very sad indeed.

Dunder, the law on seat belts is that once all the available seatbelts are in use, you are allowed to pile in as many extra people as you want.
In a pickup truck, as long as the belts in the cab are in use you can fill the box of the truck with as many people as you like.
You cannot however, have an unrestrained dog in the back of a pickup...
The law needs to be changed.

Unfortunately, many high school kids think they are invincible... can't happen to me. When i was a kid i was the same way.
Maybe one or two kids will take note of this. i see these guys rippen around all the time...
